Description

Oreq DH4200 Fiber Reinforced Drain Hose 200 ftHeavy Duty Pool Drain Hose for Professional Water Removal The Oreq 200ft Fiber Reinforced Drain Hose (DH4200) is a professional grade pool drain hose designed for fast, controlled water removal during pool draining, filter cleaning, waste discharge, and equipment servicing. Built with fiber reinforced construction, this hose delivers superior durability, kink resistance, and pressure handling compared to standard lay flat or lightweight drain hoses.

Heavy-Duty Pool Drain Hose for Professional Water Removal

The Oreq 200ft Fiber Reinforced Drain Hose (DH4200) is a professional-grade pool drain hose designed for fast, controlled water removal during pool draining, filter cleaning, waste discharge, and equipment servicing. Built with fiber-reinforced construction, this hose delivers superior durability, kink resistance, and pressure handling compared to standard lay-flat or lightweight drain hoses.

At a full 200 feet in length, the DH4200 provides extended reach for draining water away from pool decks, equipment pads, and landscaped areas—making it an essential tool for pool service professionals, commercial facilities, and homeowners performing large-scale maintenance.

This is a pool-specific drain hose, not a household sump hose or irrigation line.

Built for Demanding Pool & Spa Applications

Pool service work places constant stress on drain hoses. The Oreq DH4200 is engineered to withstand:

  • Repeated rolling and unrolling

  • Exposure to chlorinated and chemically treated water

  • Abrasion from decks, concrete, and gravel

  • Sun and outdoor conditions during service calls

Unlike thin lay-flat hoses that collapse or tear, this fiber-reinforced design maintains structural integrity under real-world pool service conditions.

Drain hoses like this are commonly used alongside equipment in the Pool Equipment Collection.

200-Foot Length for Maximum Flexibility

The extended 200ft length allows water to be routed well away from:

  • Pool decks and coping

  • Equipment pads

  • Landscaping and foundations

  • Neighboring properties

This added reach is especially valuable when draining pools to waste, lowering water levels, or flushing systems where short hoses simply don’t reach a safe discharge point.

Fiber Reinforced Construction

The DH4200 uses reinforced internal fibers to improve strength and shape retention.

Benefits of fiber reinforcement include:

  • Reduced kinking and collapsing

  • Improved pressure handling

  • Longer service life

  • More consistent water flow

This makes the hose reliable for gravity draining as well as pump-assisted discharge during pool maintenance.

Common Pool Service Uses

The Oreq 200ft drain hose is widely used for:

  • Draining pools for repairs or renovations

  • Lowering water levels after heavy rain

  • Discharging water during filter backwashing

  • Routing waste water during vacuum-to-waste

  • Draining spas, fountains, and water features

It pairs well with pumps found in the Pool Pumps Collection and filtration systems in the Pool Filters Collection.

Designed for Repeated Professional Use

This drain hose is not disposable. It is built to be reused season after season.

Professional-grade features include:

  • Reinforced walls to resist bursting

  • Flexible handling without collapsing

  • Compatibility with common pool pump discharge setups

  • Easy storage when rolled

For pool technicians, this hose becomes a core part of the service truck setup.

Compatibility & Setup

The Oreq DH4200 is designed for standard pool drain and discharge applications.

Typical setup considerations:

  • Used with submersible or external pumps

  • Compatible with common pool discharge fittings

  • Suitable for gravity drain or pump-assisted flow

Always ensure secure connections to prevent leaks during operation.

Why Choose a Fiber Reinforced Drain Hose

Compared to standard lay-flat hoses, fiber-reinforced drain hoses offer:

  • Better durability under pressure

  • Reduced risk of tearing

  • Improved longevity

  • More reliable flow

For anyone draining pools regularly, upgrading to a reinforced hose like the DH4200 saves time, reduces replacements, and improves job efficiency.

Ideal for Residential & Commercial Pools

This drain hose is suitable for:

  • Residential pool maintenance

  • Commercial pool facilities

  • Apartment and HOA pools

  • Service professionals managing multiple properties

Its length and durability make it adaptable across a wide range of pool environments.

Proper Care & Storage

To maximize service life:

  • Rinse after use when possible

  • Allow to drain before storage

  • Store rolled or coiled out of direct sunlight

  • Avoid sharp edges during operation

Proper care ensures consistent performance over time.

CODE is the book you should get.
Format: Paperback
The best book to enter the field. Grateful that Charles Petzold decided to write it, even happier this was one of the first books I picked up. Recommend to everyone wanting to become a programmer, or just interested in computers.

If you only buy one technical computer book, this is it
Format: Paperback
Disclaimer: I owned the first edition for years and read it a dozen times, mainly for pleasure since it’s not only informative but also just enjoyable to read. I’m a professional software architect and have dozens of textbooks on computer science and engineering so I’ve been around the block. This is the kind of book I would buy all for all my friends (if I had more than a couple) and family members (if they were even slightly into computers, which they aren’t sadly). Petzold does an exceptional job at describing digital logic and guides you through building a conceptual CPU from very first principles. I think his bottom up approach is the way to go and has helped me understand complex topics in an extremely simple way. When I’m not reading fiction, this is my go to bedtime reading. The second edition has about 100 more pages than the first and some content has been completely reworked and it’s great. If you ever had even a passing interest in knowing how computers work at a very fundamental level, get this book!

First programmer?
Format: Paperback
As an ardent reader of the past 1st edition, I was fairly excited to get the latest version. That is, until I encountered the history chapter of the new edition. For one thing, what I do NOT understand in this second edition is the newly added description of August Ada Byron (countless of Lovelace). The author claims it was Babbage who was the first programmer to design the engines, not Ada. I am not trying to start a futile argument here about who has more or fewer contributions, etc. What I am trying to assert here is that it is undisputed that Ada (unless the new evidence arises) left *the very first demonstration* of what this seemingly imaginary machine, which didn't even physically exist, was capable of through her program. Because Babbage designed the engine itself, that doesn't automatically put him in the position of a programmer (despite Babbage being a brilliant engineer/scientist and may have had a simple or detailed program in his mind). However, it was Ada who gave a definite touch to programming concepts that ultimately led to modern-day programming. Ada deserves more recognition than a mere "tutorial writer," and she is certainly entitled to the title she deserves. Other than that, like the previous edition, this book is a must-read for people who are from related/unrelated fields. I always loved the 1st edition, and I would do too with the 2nd. Still, I think history should always be approached with more care, particularly if matters have potential controversies.

One of the few books worth your time
Format: Paperback
If you want to learn computers, start here. Learning from a historical perspective removes complexity of trying to start with say GPUs - you learn just like computer engineers did, incrementally.

An absolutely brilliant book
Format: Paperback
This is an amazing book for the right kind of reader. It's a lot like Euclid's Elements but for computers as it leads the reader through designing a computer from first principles and builds to the point of creating software and adding peripherals. It's an amazingly clear but slightly challenging read. I have given this book as a gift many many times. It's an absolute classic in my opinion.
